ProShow Web: Stunning Slideshows for Stunning Photos
We’re really excited to announce a new friend of ours, ProShow Web:
They’ll take your SmugMug photos and video clips and turn them into gorgeous, tasteful, customizable slideshows. All you have to do is pick from their extensive library of themes, choose some music and they’ll build the rest.
Best of all, you can always go back and tweak the settings until you get exactly what you want: write text, amp up the energy and add all kinds of à la carte effects to your show.

Once your movie is complete, ProShow makes it super simple to download in a variety of formats and sizes. Or better yet, send it back to SmugMug into the gallery of your choice:

Check them out and get started now! Or you can log in at SmugMug and look under your gallery’s Buy button, under Create a Video.
You can make a 15-image movie right away, for free. Take a look at their Plus ($30/year) and Pro ($150/year) accounts for additional options like watermarking, commercial-use licenses and more.

I have a non-professional site at smugmug and use ProShow Pro for my movies. Will I be able to upload videos from my PSP to smugmug?
Hi Rita, you need to be Power or Pro on SmugMug to host the videos. Thanks!
Looks great!
If you wanted to create a DVD of the video would you have to use their Producer software?
can the slideshow be embedded on your homepage?
I’m a Pro user on SmugMug and own Proshow Producer (desktop). PSP had several hooks developed to publish to various social video hosting sites. Will they develop the Smugmug hook for the desktop version that they have for their web product?

How is this different from Animoto?
Hi Samir, it’s similar to Animoto but there are a few differences. Having two companies just gives you a choice. Check it out!
How do I find the slideshow I just uploaded to smugmug from Proshow
Hi Alphonso, you should look under your “Other” category but if you can’t find it, you can always count on your Upload Log to show you everything that’s been recently added to your site. Find it in your Account Settings > Stats > Upload details. Hope this helps!
